Social Media & Marketing Manager

Competitive salary depending on experience. This is a full-time office-based role in Harold Wood. As we are a retail business – this role will require you to work 40 hours a week, which can include Saturday’s.

You will be part of an e-commerce and social media team that values and recognises the importance of development, whilst exploring a wealth of retail and technical challenges alongside promoting ProKit UK on all Social Media platforms.

Your Role

  • Develop, manage, and implement marketing strategies to strengthen brand presence and increase customer engagement.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling digital content across all social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Help grow our online presence while maintaining commercial focus and delivering the best possible customer experience.
  • Monitor competitor activity and stay up to date with the latest marketing and e-commerce trends.
  • Identify commercial opportunities through website analytics and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with buyers to ensure accurate and engaging product representation, including descriptions, placement, and features.
  • Lead and support marketing campaigns, ensuring brand consistency across all channels.
  • Manage community engagement across all platforms and oversee daily content scheduling

Experience

  • Deep expertise across major social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn, with a proven track record of creating high-performing content.
  • Strong ability to conceptualise, design, and produce visually striking content tailored to each platform’s format, audience, and algorithm.
  • Elite-level graphic design skills, with advanced proficiency in tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva, capable of producing professional, brand-led graphics with consistent visual identity.
  • Elite-level video editing experience, with mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar editing software, creating polished short-form and long-form video content.
  • Strong creative direction abilities, from storyboarding and scripting to shooting and final editing.
  • Experience managing full social media campaigns, including paid and organic strategies, from concept through to execution and performance analysis.
  • Confident in analysing platform insights and reporting on performance, using data to refine content strategy and boost engagement.
  • Excellent written communication skills for crafting engaging captions, scripts, and customer-facing messages.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple content deadlines and creative projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive and innovative mindset, constantly exploring new formats, trends, and digital techniques to elevate brand visibility.
